I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I’ll frame this as more of a PSA. This place is a mess. I go to the Dr maybe 2-3 times a year (and one of those visits is for my physical) and don’t require much (accuracy/some level of politeness). I really only go when I’m desperate. Anyway, after feeling miserable for a while (and being told by my boss that I need to see a dr), I met with a PA in this office, who seemed inconvenienced by my presence, didn’t bother to listen to me, and then gave me the wrong test. It took 36 hours of dealing with their ridiculous waste of time call center, and sending repeated messages into the portal in order to clear up his mess. Now I will have to suffer for 3 more days while I retest and wait for the results. No apology or accountability from Optum (which is really all it would have taken for me to get over this- although the call center and lack of response really is exasperating- especially when you’re not feeling well). Just defensiveness and poor excuses. Fortunately, there are much better options. I went to a much better practice today (in NYC). The doctor there actually listened to me, made sure I was able to get my test, and actually chec

Dr. John Rothar was very polite and must have read my file very well, the moment he entered the room he acknowledged what I must be going through right now based on my allergies at this time of year.,and promise to reach to some of my other doctors to ensure they all work together to make life more tolerable for me.. He apologized for the long questionier from Medicare, and explained that it also helped the medical association also.

Had a 1:30 appt today and was 10 minutes early, but by 2pm waiting in the exam room the doctor didn't show up. I walked out. Came in with an injury that I needed checked out that happened recently. Never do business with a dr office that makes you wait that long when you're in pain.

Not sure if it’s appropriate to do shout-outs, but Dr. Varun and Dr. Heather are both outstanding. They’re incredibly knowledgeable and have genuinely helped me improve both my physical health and mental well-being. They’re personable, take the time to remember you as an individual, and offer thoughtful, holistic advice rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m very grateful to have them as my primary care physicians.

Busy spot - adult medicine, pediatrics and cardiology on the other side. A lot of sick kids in the main area... wish it was separated out better. No walk -ins when I called up - you had to call and make a reservation with the generic Optum line (I also dislike the computer voice that you have to talk to instead of a person...). It was better when it was Riverside Pediatrics.. but that's what you get with a big conglomerate taking over, I suppose. At least the doc was nice!
